need help

hello everyone , im new to this site , and i have an issue. im not sure why this hapens. im running hlsw version 1.1.6 and my issue is this.

everything works great at home on my desk top, but when im at work i use my laptop, i am running vista , when i click on get log (internet) it tells me it cant retrive server long and to come here and see the faq section. but im not seeing anything in there. can someone help me? is there a patch or do i need to upgrade  ? im not sure why this happens.
