Ban list

Here, you will see all the players which are banned on a particular server. The ban list supports all Half-Life Mods (CS, TFC etc). If there are more than 1000 bans in the list, HLSW has problems showing them all. The ban list includes every type of ban: Wonid/SteamID-, IP- and ID-bans. In a separate column, every known WonID/SteamID and the belonging name is shown, if it is already included in the GlobalID Database.

By pressing the Update button, the server's actual banlist will be uploaded into the HLSW-Client. It appears as a numbered list. You can remove a ban from the list by selecting a ban, and then pressing the Remove button. The Write button ensures that any changes made in HLSW will be saved to the server's banlist. Otherwise, they will be lost at a server restart. The Reload button loads the bans from the server's banned.cfg and listip.cfg files. All new bans not yet included in the CFGs will be removed.

Add Ban

The Add BAN section allows you to manually add bans in the HLSW Client. To add a ban, in the GlobalID/IP-field, enter the user's GlobalID or IP, and in the Time field enter the ban time, in minutes. Finally, click the BAN button. By setting time = 0, the user is permanently banned. To ensure the added bans will be saved, it's recommended that you use the Write function after finishing the entries.
